The principle of transformer is based on the electromagnetic induction phenomenon.

Transformers work on the principle of mutual induction between two coils.
When an alternating current flows through the primary coil, it creates a magnetic field around it.
This magnetic field induces a voltage in the secondary coil, which is proportional to the number of turns in the coil.
The voltage in the secondary coil can be stepped up or stepped down depending on the ratio of the number of turns in the primary and secondary coils.
Transformers are used in power transmission and distribution, as well as in electronic devices like chargers and adapters.
