MLC is MEDICO LEGAL CASE ...whenever mlc comes ,instead of first reporting to the police ,we have to fill out the MLC form along with consent .then only treat the patient whenever ther is a burn patient we have to examine whether it is a superficial ,1st degree ,2nd degree or 3rd degree burn and to see how big the burn is .If its superficial or 1st degree burn with or with out scald ,It has to be cleaned and scrapped if necessary then do the dressing with bactigauze and mega heal .if there is 2nd or third degree burn ,then by providing the maintainance drip , its better to refer the patient to a tertiary centre or a burn centre
