Content Modifier is used to modify the content of a message, while Content Enricher is used to enrich the content of a message.

Content Modifier is used to add, modify, or delete message content
Content Enricher is used to enhance the message content by retrieving additional data from external sources
Content Modifier can be used to set values, add headers, or transform the message payload
Content Enricher can be used to retrieve data from databases, web services, or other systems and add it to the message

there is no simlarity in content modifier and content enricher, content modifier is used to add the header and exchange property in the artifact and message body is used to modify the data.

whereas content encricher is used to add the content of payload with the original message, this convert two separate message into a single enhance payload,

this feature enable us to call the external system during the integration process to obtain additional data.

Content Enricher in aggregation algorithem

we have two options

1 combine used to simply combine the payload with original message.

2 enrich is lookup based on primary key it embed the payload within original message.
