it was my interview for a Research Engineer job in a CSIR Lab. The interview was for the candidates who have qualified ALL INDIA LEVEL written test. It was panel interview and quite challenging to face 8 -- 10 panel EXPERTS. The technical question was how do we measure SPECIFIC FUEL CONSUMPTION OF I.C. ENGINE. It looks like a simple question but the person asked was a renowned Professor from IIT Madras [which i came to know after i joined and met him].

First of all I was very confident in my reply. i have explained the basic aspects of fuel, measuring equipment, significance of SFC, and various precautions which are required to be taken during the experiment. As i had studied recently,  it was more of fundamental knowledge testing approach.
