Check the tag number of the pump and also stand by pump condition.To be checking the mechanical and electrical side clearance.To be checking the all drain point having gasket or not.To be checking that pump need to priming or not if need that then priming need to be done  To be checking the weather it is line up or not ( suction wedge open & discharge crack open) and also seal oil and bearing cooling water lines line or not To be checking the status of lube oil after finishing all then inform the panel pump was ready to start up then after starting dicharge valve open as per flow basis then  when reaching the enough flow previous running pump need to shut off.
