There are various methods to put/ set bearing inside the shaft 
1. Push hit method- in this method  we put bearing on shaft and hit with alluminium hammer , this method is used for tapper roller bearing 
2. Mobil Oil heating treatment - this method is used for big ball bearing and  fine fix 
3. General methods - in this method we put grease on bearing And shaft ,if shaft size is differ then we make bearing sheet on it then fix it
