The low-pressure liquid refrigerant then enters the evaporator, where it absorbs heat from the surroundings and evaporates into a low-pressure gas.
The low-pressure gas refrigerant then returns to the compressor to start the cycle again.
Examples of refrigerants used in the cycle include R-134a, R-410A, and ammonia.
