Always answer this question as mixture of past situations and future assumptions. say that I will do this as I have faced similar situation in previous job and we did this,  and how it worked, but same solution may won't work in given situation. but before doing anything, I will always discuss with manager, this this is the situation and I feel this this solution can work and take manager's guidance.
