The compressor compresses the refrigerant, increasing its temperature and pressure.
The condenser releases the heat absorbed by the refrigerant.
The expansion valve reduces the pressure of the refrigerant, causing it to cool down.
The evaporator absorbs heat from the indoor air and cools it down using the cold refrigerant.
The cooled air is then circulated back into the room through the air ducts.
