Polymorphism is the ability of an object to take on many forms.

It allows objects of different classes to be treated as if they were objects of the same class.
It is achieved through method overriding and method overloading.
Example: A shape class can have multiple subclasses like circle, square, triangle, etc. All these subclasses can have a draw() method, but each subclass will implement it differently.
Another example is the + operator in Python. It can be used to add two integers or concatenate two strings.

Polymorphism is achieved by through overloading and overriding.

Overloading is also known as Compile time Polymorphism.
In overloading the multiple methods in same class having same method name but different method signatures.
Overriding is also known as Run time Polymorphism.
In overriding the multiple methods having same method name,same method signatures, return type,access modifier,same parameters.
It is possible in only child class.

Coercion polymorphism (also known as implicit type conversion): This occurs when an object of one type is implicitly converted to another type. For example, a String object can be implicitly converted to a double object. The double value of the String object will be used when the String object is used in a mathematical expression.
