Linear : the data structures which comes under this group are arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues.                                           Non linear : the data structures which comes under this group are trees, graphs.                          Linked lists : A linked list is a linear collection of data elements whose order is not given by their physical placment in memory.                                       Stack : which serves as a collection of elements with mainly two operations such as push (i.e., adding)  and pop (i.e., removing)  followed by the principle LIFO (last in first out).
