Find second highest number from list without using inbuilt functions

• Sort the list in descending order

• Return the second element of the sorted list

l = [8,6,9,7]

for i in range(len(l)):

for j in range(i+1,len(l)):

if l[j]>l[i]:

temp = l[i]

l[i]=l[j]

l[j]= temp

print(l[1])
