Polymorphism enables code reuse and flexibility in object-oriented programming.
Virtual keyword is used in function overloading to allow the compiler to determine which function to call at runtime based on the type of object.
Without virtual keyword, the function called would be determined at compile-time based on the type of pointer used.
Polymorphism can be achieved through inheritance or interfaces.
Example: A Shape class with derived classes Circle and Square. Both can be treated as Shape objects.
Example: A virtual function draw() in Shape class can be overridden in derived classes to draw the specific shape.
Example: A function with virtual keyword can be overloaded in derived classes with different parameters.
Example: A function without virtual keyword can only be overloaded in the same class with different parameters.
