4 Interview Rounds

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There was a written test followed by 5 rounds of interview. The written test had 40 Data Interpretation questions and 10 Logical Reasoning questions.Duration for written test was 1 hour.

Round: MATHS ROUND
Experience: The 5 rounds of interview consisted of 4 Maths based rounds and 1 HR round. The first two interviews were held in the night .Mine particularly was at 2:30 am and 2:45 am .The next few rounds were in the morning(9 am).Questions were mainly case studies, logical reasoning and probability(Basically to check your comfort level in maths).

General Tips: Exhausting journey as there were nearly 5 interviews in a span of 10 hours (through the night) with hardly any sleep in between. It'll definitely be a good learning experience irrespective of how things turn out.
Keep in touch with aptitude. Decent speed in maths is necessary .Familiarization with Simple Interest and Profit Loss problems will come in handy during the interview stage.
Skill Tips: Books really won't help, just have to make sure your not too rusty at the time of the test and interview. The interview questions are all maths oriented, there's nothing to worry about.Don't have to solve everything just have to leave a good impression with the interviewee.

5 Interview Rounds

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: It was basic data interpretation questions. They gave us a graph or a couple of graphs and asked questions based on them. Calculators were permitted, so it was mostly about speed and application.
Tips: Solve CAT level questions for Data Interpretation, which is a more advanced level. That should make these questions relatively easy. Just practice sums as much as possible to crack this first round.
Duration: 35 minutes
Total Questions: 30

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: The company basically looks for how logically you think as well as how effectively you can communicate while working on a problem. The question will be a relatively straightforward case with basic math involved. There are three rounds of Case Interviews, with varying problem statements, to test your thought and working process
Tips: Ensure you write everything systematically, and keep the conversation going with your interviewer. Tell him/her what you are doing constantly. Double check your work, ask questions and be calm and confident. The process is very relaxed so take your time. If you have a doubt, don't hesitate to get it clarified. Organise your workings clearly so you may come back to it easily. Don't get flustered if you make a mistake, check your working and correct it.

Round: Behavioural Interview
Experience: This was the last round of interviews. It was very relaxed. If you've made it this far then you have a very good chance of receiving an offer letter. It's more of an HR Interview with easy flowing conversation. It is to gauge your communication ability and to get a better understanding of what you've done previousy in terms of work, projects, etc.
Tips: Be calm. It's a very relaxed interview with a flowing conversation. Be confident. Don't be afraid to take a moment to think. Ensure you answer the questions in a manner that highlights previous work that you've done, or any other accomplishments. DON'T LIE. Be genuine and calm.

General Tips: I've already said all there is to say earlier. But I'll re-iterate. The interviewers are very nice and relaxed. So just be yourself. Communicate effectively and be organised in your thoughts and workings.
Skill Tips: Don't be nervous. The process is well organised and conducted. It is swift and interesting too. Just stay calm and don't be shy.
Skills: Analytic Thinking, Logic, Communication Ability
College Name: NIT Surathkal
Motivation: I loved the job profile and it was the first company I sat for on campus. I didn't want to continue with any tech related jobs. The company too, has a fantastic atmosphere in the work place.

5 Interview Rounds

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There was a written test. I think it was Apti.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: In this round they asked questions like give two products their prices, losses and profits, duration of useand many other things and asked which product you would use.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: 3rd round also, was again a case interview.

Round: Behavioural Interview
Experience: In the final round- behavioral interview they asked for situations in your life and asked questions on it. And for every situation these were the common questions: Why is it so?, Was the situation resolved?, How did the event end?, What did you accomplish?, What did you learn from the experience?

General Tips: Also during behavioral interview try to think for some logical explanation for all the situations you provide. Try to keep the situations related to academics as much as possible, and sound confident. It was a nice experience and people were friendly. I think being quick in calculations and remembering a bit of economics is good enough.
Skill Tips: Other than that just go through all the economics they teach in 3rd year, that’s more than enough. Try to be quick at calculations. If required practise some tricks to make yourself fast enough. For the case studies try to avoid silly mistakes. It's very common that in such pressure some small mistakes will happen in calculations.
