Round: Test
Experience: It was just a normal aptitute test no need of any preparation for the written test. Instead of answering each and
every question in each section allot equal time for all the three sections i.e quant,verbal and logical reasoning. First aptitude test was conducted for 75min and then we were asked to write an essay for about 15min. After
shortlisting one TECH interview for 20-30min and HR for 15-20min.
Duration: 75 minutes
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: My tech interview was for around 20 to 30min. They just asked me about my project and some questions on 'C' mainly structures.
Round: HR Interview
Experience: My HR was for around 15min and they just asked me about my project and my background, hobbies,interests n guys be ready to answer the question "What's your AIM?" n this question is asked every company. They just tested whether we are confident in whatever we say and they want us to do multiple tasks at the same time like i was asked to write a program using structures and at the same time i was asked about my personal info without interrupting the program.
Skill Tips: Just brush up the formulae which u have studied during ur 10th n intermediate to clear the aptitude. This is very important for all the companies. Study C n C++ thoroughly if you want to get into a good software company.

Experience: The 1st hurdle was the aptitude test.There were 3 sections - quant,verbal and logical reasoning having 25 ,30 and 50 questions each.The tricky part was that there was -ve marking.+1 for every correct answer and -0.5 for every wrong answer. Individual cut off s were there.After the aptitude test we had to write an essay.They had given 2 topics and my topic was " Should animals be used for medical research-- to what extent??"
Duration: 75 minutes
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: He asked me to explain what I had written in my essay and how I felt about it.Then he went on to ask me the
following questions:
1. What do you know about synchronous motor??
2.How does the motor manage different loads??
He then asked me which my favorite subject was and I said "Power systems".
3.What is switch gear?
4.What all equipment do you typically find in a substation??
5.what is a current t/f and why is it used??
Then he asked me for another of my favorite subject and i said "Industrial Management"
6.What is CPM/PERT??
7.Explain how CPM is used to management project time and cost??
Since I had a good idea about what ever he had asked, i was able to give him satisfactory answers.
Round: HR Interview
Experience: HR Interview was very nice.
1. What is your background??
2.Do you have a passport??
3.Are you willing to work anywhere and abroad??
4.Any doubts about the bond??
It was a very good experience for me.The panel members made me feel really comfortable and even though it was
my 1st interview i felt really relaxed thanks to the panel members and the placements coordinators who were really
supportive.
Skill Tips: You guys should have at least 1 or 2 subjects that you like and you should know them inside out. As for the HR round just relax don not shake any part of your body(by that i mean don't show that you are nervous by shaking your feet or torso), and answer what comes naturally to you.DO NOT BY HEART ANSWERS FOR HR ROUND. Just have a basic idea on what your going to say.

I was very nervous in my 1st interview. So never be nervous, just be confident and do well. And dont be disappointed if you dont get 1 job, Something better is always waiting for you.
