Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Firstly, I myself had prepared a rough draft of Abstract and then I sat along with my friends and we made it look better with some kind of modifications. Also, prior to this I have attended a workshop- & Abstract Writing.
Round: Test
Experience: You are supposed to give two written tests: one will be on Aptitude and the other will be a technical test(C-Questions) Nearly 25 students gave the tests. 6 got shorlisted for the Interviews. 2 got Final offers.
Round: HR Interview
Experience: Mine was a typical Interview as far as I am concerned. I was asked to solve the unsolved puzzles from the written test. Fortunately, I answered two out of two and I think that was the turning point for me. Also, he asked me to write a C-program for the Fabonacci series. And asked some questions related to Data structures in C. But he had not asked to write programs for Data Stuctures. Only, you are supposed to know the concept. Then, he asked me to explain my MTP in great detail. I explained him for about 15 minutes. The whole Interview went for about 40-45 minutes.
General Tips: He should practice puzzles, any quantitative ability book and you should be damn perfect in C-language. Time is not sufficient for you to solve the whole paper. But, it is enough for you to get shortlisted to the next stage (Interview) if you solve more than 70% perfectly.
