Round: Interview
Experience: Questions to test the student’s knowledge in his/her department are asked. Questions are quite simple since they are more interested in how you express the answer. There is also an additional puzzle that’s asked. It’s generally very open ended, so any justifiable answer is accepted.

Round: Interview
Experience: First you are asked to describe your CV, which you should show as being related. As in, you should tell them how each and every activity/honours/projects mentioned in your resume contributed to building your personality, and how these would enable you to contribute positively as an employee of the company. In the last round, we were asked to describe any one project which we had done during our stay in KGP in simple terms so that someone with zero knowledge of the field would understand it.

Skill Tips: 8+ CGPA in the respective department. The company is looking primarily for technology consultants and hence they are very particular about the student having a good grasp of the concepts. He/She should also be able to articulate his ideas/answers in a simple and easy-to-understand manner because that’s the job of a consultant. So basically good acads and good comunication skills. They look for a well rounded personality, so involvement in any extracurricular activity is definitely a plus. There is a puzzle round where they test your ability to think out of the box to come up with solutions. Originality is always appreciated. Students are expected to be comfortable with reading and making sense of long computer programs, as most of the patent litigation issues (in which the company specializes) generally fall into this category. Any internships/projects in the respective department adds to your CV as a prospective consultant.
