Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The test was very easy, most of the questions were the standard questions you get when you Google for aptitude preparation. Even the numbers weren't changed from questions found online, hence I could most of them without even solving the question. None of the questions were challenging.
Tips: Google is your friend as always, just search for aptitude and have a look at the questions in the top results, and more likely than not, you will be through to the next round.
Duration: 20 minutes
Total Questions: 25

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The interview started out with me listing my knowledge of programming. I was fairly comfortable with Java, and conveyed this to the interviewer. The java questions that followed were very basic, and any coder who has written even the basic programs will do quite well in this round.
Tips: Having a sound grasp of the fundamentals is key here. Beyond that, there is nothing much to write about here.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The HR interview was pretty standard, with the standard why do you want to join, where do you see yourself in 5 years and the likes. Again, nothing special to write about.
Tips: In my opinion, no one really cares about what you say in this round. It is mainly the confidence and comfort in a new situation that will be assessed. If your preparation is good, these will be a piece of cake.

General Tips: Fundamentals are important for any interview, hence it is important to be well prepared.
Skill Tips: No need to do anything extravagant, just stick to the basics and keep it simple.
Skills: Confidence, Java Programming, Aptitude
College Name: IIT Madras
Motivation: To be honest, This company wasn't even on my target list when applying for placements. I just happened to be in the classroom at the time of the written test.
Funny Moments: The company representative initially announced that people with a CGPA of above 8 will be given direct entry to interview round. There was only 1 guy in the classroom. Unfortunately, he wasn't selected in the interview. However, the announcement made me nervous, as my cgpa was only 5.83, and this might count against me. However, I later found out that this wasn't the case, and I was selected.
