Round: Test
Experience: Technical interview comprised of both Tech and HR. Each interview lasted for about
45 minutes.
CGPA isn’t really a factor (at least Last Year).
Questions about Cochin Shipyard Internship were asked.
Questions like, why you wanted to be an IITian were asked.
Medical standards for Eyesight –permissible up to -3.5 D (Myopia).
Tips: Preparation : Basic Naval architecture courses like Ship theory, Resistance and Propulsion and Ship Structure. Special Importance to be given to the assignment in Ship Design. Preparation for the Grand Viva helps a lot
College Name: IIT MADRAS
Motivation: The Indian Navy today employs the largest pool of trained Naval Architects in India. With the Navy going for more and more sophisticated warship production within the country, the Corps of Naval Architects offers excellent opportunities to keep abreast of the advancement in ship building technology and implement your innovative ideas.
