Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: After topic was announced , we were given one minute time to think about it. We wrote our points on a paper given to us. After some time ,One person started to speak about the topic . Peoples were giving their views one after other. I got chance to speak two times in the time period of 15 minutes. I put my points . Finally it ended well.
Tips: Speak at least for two times , put yr points as early as possible otherwise some other might have same view.if he would speak before u then u have to think something different again.u might not get chance to speak again.
Duration: 15 minutes

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Selection process was mainly depends on your performance in GATE exam and academic results. 15-20 % weightage was for this round and GD.
They asked few questions (basic ) related to technical and HR.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: i went to interview with full if preparation...i have given interview of hpcl n bpcl n borl so i learnt that calmness with energy n confidence  is must for cracking interview....Whatever u answer ...answer with full of your confidence n belief.y govt job??answers...i want to contribute to the nation,s growth...in a country like india..where 17 crore people sleep without two time food...it is must tht india grow at rate faster thn 10%...for that energy sector have to give its best...for that manpower at energy sector comapnies must be highly dedicated and motivated....n this is what i am....i want to be part of givt organisation to contribute in nation growth.

For strengths..1.Commitment2.Self motivation3.Belief in urself4.Smart work5.regular work6.fighting sprit
Example...i cracked GATE with AIR 48 with final year...at the same time i was mess secratory if my hostel mess ..histel secratory of hostel....head of paryaas team...i completed my project with full efficiency..i maintained my sem exam marks..i  represented my kollage cricket team.....all these things together with full of efficiency is only possible if u r self motivated...self commited...self belief...self aggresion...self patience.
Tips: Prepare before going to interviewNever ever give silly answwrs or jokes type...they all take it as negative...be professiinal...sell urslef as product....dont beg....make them feel to select you at any cost...I selwcted in my all interviews except 1.

Skills: your approach towards situations created by them...., ur confidence, ur energy, Body language
