Work from home if you choose to work that way. Team members are skilled and there is lots you can learn from them. Team building activities etc.

Dislikes

This could depend on which client you work with. You may not be working on projects you are interested in. You might have to work with not so technically sound client so things don't always come through and time you give on a seemingly easy problem could end up taking a couple more days than you initially intended

Likes

The culture is pretty non-corporate, the work one does is what matter here. Company has talented and supportive folks, and lot of scope to learn as per ones appetite. We also have permanent WFH and can still go and work in the office space if we want. Flexibility is 💯.

Dislikes

Sometimes it gets difficult to manage work life balance, if the imbalance does get extreme then the team is understanding and does reprioritize work.

I was among the few who joined velotio back in July 2017 when we were just 20-30 people and I'm fortunate to witness the tremendous growth that has happened over the last 5 years. Over these years I have learned lot many things from my colleagues, seniors, leaders & mentors that have helped me hone my technical skills and more importantly, become a better version of myself. In velotio you get to work on all niche technologies and tools in a variety of domains and leadership here provides you with the right ecosystem to grow. Overall the journey has been very rewarding.

Work culture is definitely great, but what is more commendable that everyone is hand-picked, i.e. very rigorous interview process, even when they are running short on resources, they might speed up the interview process, but don't tend to drop quality. And to a great extent that is applicable to the clients too, resulting in good experiences in executing projects.

Dislikes

The environment is fast paced for sure, aggressive, while it pull off the work life balance, in return it undoubtedly offers genuine start-up-like learning experience and tons of job satisfaction.
