For a fresher the salary is good and a good oppurtunity to learn about work. Colleagues are very Helpful.

Dislikes

Work-Life balance is very poor. Moreover the HR policies doesnt benefit the employees. In particular the location Lanjigarh is very remote and communication is so poor. However you will be povided with hardship allowance

Vedanta is a very good company and Job security and salary structure are very good for the future.

Dislikes

Poor management No proper management now needs to be change management immediately. Not a good environment to work there at this time. so request to change the top management ASAP. The community also dislike CSR and other external function so need to be changed all old employees.

Well recognised limited organisation. Strong balance sheet with heavy hidden debt. So many responsibilities, and opportunity for R&D and improvement.

Dislikes

... work culture is pathetic . Work life balance is terrible but policies are good. Life of employee is limited with extra duty hours without any compensation.

Good salary and other perks, chances of skill development as a fresher. Fresher can learn many things in initial 2 years.

Dislikes

Bad and remote location, no flexibility, poor work life balance. 6 days a week is the worst thing. No work from home, less leaves.

Learning opportunities are lot but Systematic approach is missing . Good salary benefits.

Time consumption Pressure would be there The area is totally remote , you will even find difficult is day to day marketing , transportation facility is very difficult .
