University of Jammu gives opportunities to the freshers as well as the educational environment is excellent . This is the best thing about JU.

I dont have any such disliking reviews. This is the place from where I have acheived my Ph.D. degree and now serving in same Department make me feel so good.

Likes

Time to time online updation is provided. Online meetings are held. Work culture is near about good. Overall satisfactory axperience of being at work in the university.

Dislikes

Communication and feedback could be improved and timely fianancial assistance should be provided. Greieviances should be readressed.

University is observing and implementing all advisories from government and UGC.

Dislikes

Sometimes, regularity in cleanliness and sanitisation is adversely affected due to dearth of available permanent staff during COVID-19 crisis.

Job security is there. Infrastructure is slightly above average. Likely to improve in the years to come.

Dislikes

Work culture is that of yesmanship to authorities. Above average freedom of expression and work is very much there. Better than most of the other state universities in India.

Only the Indian flag It's the only thing I like in University of Jammu there is nothing else you can like in Jammu University.

It's totally a bin of garbage working here is like your working in a dictatorship I was appointed as a research assistant in the department of remote sensing and GIS in 2018 I worked for the university for about 4 months but the head of the department professor of the Avatar Singh Jasrotia without any return order did not allow me to enter the department and to continue my job I raised my voice for about 8 months but no one listen me I wrote many letters to voice chancellor but all in vain. Professor Avatar Singh Jasrotia is a dictator his past records describe his character and behaviour as he was thrown out of the department of Geology by the strong agitation of the staff of the department and and he was also thrown out of the department of physical education by strong agitation by the students There are many complaints in police stations too.
