In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. The company is good but a lot of pseudo promises and mainly my job profile wasn’t in sync with my expertise. I was given a task to realign the reservations but my suggestions and ideas and expertise was crushed down. I was made to work for things I know nothing about. I was scared my knowledge and expertise will get rusty working there.
