Everything in respect of salary, work culture, job security and so on. There are hundreds of cases filed by its employees against the company before different Courts of Law for the non payment of their salaries or gratuities or provident funds. The management of this is in the habit of cheating its own employees, its creditors and also its suppliers by misappropriating their legitimate dues. It's a big fraud company run by two fraudsters who are at the helm of all the fraudulent activities of the company.

...g in a good atmosphere and healthy competition. They are not supporting at all..it's been 4 & half month i am not getting my salary..terrible situation.

Very very irregular salary and low package..and zero incentives.

Everyone wants to work for a legacy media company. The Statesman is one such company and that’s just about it. There is nothing more an employee can look forward to in terms of job satisfaction. It needs to do much more to stay relevant. Can start with some sort of synergy between its print and online divisions. The online section also must hire reporters or let workers go out of the officer for news gathering. Not paying salaries on time puts off a lot of people even as the company struggles to retain talent.

... travel and networking, which makes it difficult for the journalists to deliver. Salary not paid on time.

Worst company anyone can ever imagine to work with. Didn't provide salary on a regular basis. No basic work culture could be seen here.

Career growth, salary scale, no regular salary, politics, work environment, fellow colleague, in short every single thing.

job profile was good. interaction with eminent writers & famous personalities in due course of my work was the only advantage of working there.

Dislikes

management was not at all supportive. salary was not in time. No value & reward for good performance & hard work only politics & favouritism prevailed.no growth prospective. Co. holds my PF & other dues till date.
