Unexpected job policies: stay or switch?
I recently switched jobs with a 48% hike, and my current in-hand salary is ₹35K. But after joining, I realized a few important things that weren’t mentioned during the interview. 1. No Phones or Bags Allowed – We have to keep them in lockers, which I wasn’t informed about before joining. 2. Working Saturdays – HR said all Saturdays are working but assured that one Saturday off per month would be introduced soon. I can't see that happening anytime soon 3. Phone Policy Confusion – When I asked HR why this wasn’t discussed earlier, they said it’s only for two months and won’t be the case at the new location (which was discussed earlier). But some old employees say the same rule applies there too. 4. Leaves – We get 21 paid leaves a year. I’m already thinking of switching. Would it be too soon to leave within 3 months, or should I stay for at least 6 months? Also, since I just got a good hike, how much can I ask for in my next job?

I have been working in Stecktra since March 2022 and till date it has been a great journey. This opportunity has given me enough chances to grow and learn new things and to apply them while working. I have received tremendous support from the management side regarding everything. We have a great team here working very hard to achieve new heights. Great work life balance and overall, the experience has been great. Looking forward to more such new experiences while working here.

I started my career with Stecktra, and so far it's been a wonderful experience with MDs, HRs, and teammates. Our MD Ajeesh is a very motivated, cool, and positive person. I extremely enjoy my job here and I am able to upskill myself with technical skills I am able to learn many new things over the past 14 months. Likes: * Remote job * Abundant opportunities * Good hike and salaries * Learning new things * Work life balance

I'm exceptionally satisfied and glad to work here as I'm encountering an extraordinary and supporting society of partners. Individuals are such a lot supportive here, you never feel like you are a lesser or senior, and everybody is there for each other. You won't be frustrated or disappointed with your choice to work for this company. There is no inclination by any stretch of the imagination. Collaborating with the Group/Team and different individuals from Stecktra during the meetings is forever been an enlightening experience. In the initial days of joining, they are providing excellent training for the rookies as well, where you'll get to learn and gain a lot of knowledge.
