Good place to start your journey in Digital Marketing as a fresher, for a gruelling agency experience. You can have a steep learning curve, depending on how much you are willing to learn and how much work you are capable of doing.

...staffed and not a lot of help or involvement is there by your reporting manager. Salary and Performance Appraisals are Luck By Chance. Work Life Balance is atrocious. Your life will be reduced to just sitting in front of your laptop for 18 hrs. Salary is peanuts. Only good thing is the learning opportunity. Only suitable for single/unmarried people who live with their parents. Because you won't even get time to eat lunch or dinner, so forget cooking meals.

For me what works is that the company has a good balance between work and personal life and also there is a time flexibility. Which means you come early, finish your work early and leave early. You come late and you leave accordingly.

Dislikes

Less holidays for festivals. Some festivals whose leaves were there previous year is not in this year. And also there is not to dislike on this but the hybrid model should be back as many are comfortable with that. If possible there should be 2 shifts. Morning and evening.

In terms of execution on the marketing front, Social Beat is all hands for experimentation and implementing anything new that comes up in the marketing landscape. Be it Generative AI, Metaverse, or Blockchain boom, the company is ever-ready to dive right in and make the best of it.

I like the team overall, promotions are good. Although depending on your manager they might micro-manage you a lot. which is a huge red-flag in the work culture according to me

Micro-managing, too many people, and sometimes they make you work too hard for a promotion you might deserve for long.
