Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

we receive our salaries promptly on the 1st day of every month. the management occasionally treats us to dinner or lunch, which is lovely gesture. The selection of books is impressive, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching them to my students. The management is supportive if teachers, which creates a positive work environment.

Dislikes

Senior teachers with 15 - 17 years of experience are often overburdened with excessive workload, they complain, spread lies, gossip behind your back and start rumors, leading to undue stress.
