Sloka always is trying to listen and change things to make it better for students. The school events that happens every year, school have tradition to take feedback from the other teachers to make these events more better next time. Sloka also has better pay compared to many school I have worked before and free lunch and transport. Teachers are also given quite independence to teach in class. And they have a rigorous policy of training teachers to understand Waldorf curriculum better.

Dislikes

Just like any other school Sloka give less importance to understanding work life balance and mental health differences. I have hardly seen them acknowledging the amount of work the teachers have. The more you go up in the higher grades, you see chaos is taking over. The time tables are a mess and especially for the students with difficulty or disability. Though the school claims to be an inclusive space and they do give a lot of options to students to be considered as an inclusive space but in depth you will find out the school has to develop its listening ear and actively listen to difficulties the students face due the school's unorganised and chaotic take on optional subjects or co curricular activities. As a teacher who teaches students with disability, I have felt useless and helpless so many times and being denied the basic respect from the school authority who have the mind to atleast think ahead of the possible issues the teachers or the students might face and making the situation better by putting the decision makers themselves in our place while planning things. I feel the authority requires to listen more than talking about the culture and legacy of Sloka that many time come across boasting with an empty head.
