Likes

As a senior functionary, I had lots of discretion in making choices. Every body [employee] may not have this. I was fortunate. I tried to ensure that every employee got a decent dealing from the management. As long as I was the interface I could ensure that. Certain depts that were not with me, did not have this benefit.

Dislikes

The management wanted to treat employees like in a factory. They did not like free thinking executives. Even on academic policy matters they would like to dictate.

I have received a new job offer with a CTC of ₹10,67,231, a monthly take-home pay of ₹83,333, and 192 restricted stock units (each valued at $60, vesting 25% after one year and quarterly thereafter).
