No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. It located in a natural environment where water flow in a canals also s near the school. during the winter season mist will blow in front us.,That seems to be really awesome another thing is that they treat us like a family members and this is a drawback also

Dislikes

More working hours without getting paid for that for example morning evening classes and Sunday classes. If we done any mistakes they scold in front of everybody sometimes in front of students also no bonus for Deepavali Pongal,no celebrations like a Teacher's Day and Children's Day and other freedom fighters birthdays, no incentives, everyday morning meetings seems to be very terrible that they sort out all the problems then the previous day that really makes our confidence level very low, no leave for government holidays.
