Good company,good work culture everything good except salary,After our work hours we should do part time jobs for living

Salary,salary increment is good for lower levels employees,5 year experienced engineers getting 25-30k.Its not enough to live singles,So how to live as a family man

Good support during lockdown period. No salary cut apart of utilisation leave we have. But need to attend office with difficulty, no food and no proper transportation provided as who are from out stations suffered well.

Dislikes

SGS is a good company with good culture and organizational aspects, safety. But it depends upon with managers. Every manager should act like leaders but the same not experienced in SGS.

Likes

SGS has a very good global client base and there are more department in SGS other than testing, so we will learn more. I was very happy to work with my team. I have very good team leader and he guided me a lot. we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re -hire policy here.

Dislikes

The work pressure is bit high. most of the times, I have to work 14 - 16 hrs and also salary not much satisfied for my working experience and my work.

Sgs India company is good because it have good reputation in global market.

No of things need to improve in this gurgaon and manesar labs. 1.Salary is very low as per market standards. 2. Promotion takes long time, you need to spend minimum 4 to 5 years in company and you need to wait more. 3. Lot of office politics and manager's sycophants will always be found everywhere. 4.Senior employees and managers do not even have any good degree but they working from very long years and they did not leave the company. 5.B.A passed manager rules over a B.Tech/M.Tech employees. 6.Office extra marital Affairs. 7.No skill development.

Instead of working as a third-party inspector & certification company SGS is providing manpower only in their respective sites like JSL plant, at Jajpur. After joining at their JSL site as a Senior Inspection Engineer (Quantity) I became to know that employees of SGS is working under the authority of JSL. But before joining I was told that SGS was working as a third-party inspector company hired by JSL.
