Freedom to choose whether you want to work or not.

Dislikes

Awful system that needs to be refreshed every 3-5 minutes. Some PMs are decent but ultimately feels like a sweatshop where you’re just treated like a translating machine not a human being. They skip the QA process, so any mistakes made by the translator cannot be corrected, which goes straight to the client, which then you’re blamed for the poor quality of your work. When it is actually the company which didn’t do their due diligence.

Well, they laid me off. I worked so hard throughout the lockdown and when they had less resources. But as soon as the lockdown was eased, they fired me. Saying I was not performing well. I worked for Deluxe/Sfera from 2014-2020. But it was right after the lockdown that they realised I was not performing well.

Very very terrible management. Everyone in the company is looking for someone to put the blame on. Worked for six years and finally got fired through an email. I feel like I wasted so much time working for Sfera.

Onboarding is pretty straightforward. Training procedure is okay. Updates are regular.

Dislikes

Am on the roster, but not been getting enough work. What work comes in tends to come in at odd hours and with very short turnarounds. Every aspect of the company seems to have taken a severe hit after it was taken over by Deluxe.
