Too much politics, scapegoating new employees, no respect for hardworking and dedicated employees, especially too much lingual based preferential treatment. Complete hostile feeling for localites. Moreover, no mercy even if you or your family are undergoing serious trouble, only work matters, some people even lack humanity.

Job security is there. There is no strict hierarchy

Dislikes

The culture. The attitude of people working there. Especially you can see their true colours when you decide to quit the company. They make it look like they were anyway going to fire you. A bunch of immature people playing class politics. In case you refuse to work on a weekend, they make it look like you don’t work at all.

Likes

Lot of emphasis on Engineering and technology. Teams work efficiently and there are enough avenues and support to learn. There is decent work life balance.

Dislikes

Company culture is terrible. There is a lot of politics at management level. If you are someone who just wants to work then life is going to be very hard for you at River. Roles and responsibilities are very vaguely defined causing clashes between teams and leading to waste of time.
