Unexpected job policies: stay or switch?
I recently switched jobs with a 48% hike, and my current in-hand salary is ₹35K. But after joining, I realized a few important things that weren’t mentioned during the interview. 1. No Phones or Bags Allowed – We have to keep them in lockers, which I wasn’t informed about before joining. 2. Working Saturdays – HR said all Saturdays are working but assured that one Saturday off per month would be introduced soon. I can't see that happening anytime soon 3. Phone Policy Confusion – When I asked HR why this wasn’t discussed earlier, they said it’s only for two months and won’t be the case at the new location (which was discussed earlier). But some old employees say the same rule applies there too. 4. Leaves – We get 21 paid leaves a year. I’m already thinking of switching. Would it be too soon to leave within 3 months, or should I stay for at least 6 months? Also, since I just got a good hike, how much can I ask for in my next job?

...e, with no consideration of work life balance, and it's not pleasant to work. 4. They take almost an year to pay you what they owe (FnF), and despite reaching out multiple times, they rarely respond to mails. When you call, they claim they haven't recieved approval yet. 5. There is no chance to learn or improve your skills. 6. The management is awful and doesn't know how to talk to employees. They struggle to get approvals for anything. Summary: Don't make mistake of working at RattanIndia. It's a terrible company that won't help you grow and will make your life miserable.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you can not resign. On the job training is not given to new joiners

You have freedom of speech amongst teammates and seniors. Location is favorable ,travel time is only 1 comfortable hour from my home through public transport. Learning opportunities are great.
