Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

There isn't much to like about the company except that, the people around are good to talk to

Dislikes

The worst company I have ever worked in.. This is a very small start up which is being run and micro-managed by the owner himself. Forget about work life balance or development-growth if you become a part of this company. You don't get positive vibes with the work culture or from your immediate supervisors. You don't get leaves easily approved even if you have a valid reason and if you are lucky enough to get a leave approved, you will get many calls from the owner himself that day. No matter how good the CTC they offer I would highly recommend you to look for another offer.
