Work life balance is good for most of the teams. Good perks like pat leave is 6month, relaxed leave policy.

Dislikes

No scope to learn something new or ground breaking. Pay is below industry standards. Every 2-3 years they keep changing the process or team structures.

Unbossed culture (mostly) Flexible Timing (most of the teams)

  • Job security - Good

Dislikes

1. TFG - Heavy cost-cutting. Clearly visible in various aspects 2. Sandoz division spin-off 3. Too much hiring from some orgs (ZS, IQVIA). People from those places bring & spread their toxic servicing client mentality (especially for IQVIA). Eventually this led to some sort of micro-management. 4. No free food. Paid food is overpriced and has no taste No cab for regular shift people. 5. SNOW - pathetic project creation tool. 6. Productivity goes for a toss as there are so many formalities 7. Promotion can be biased. have seen people climbing the ladder by organizing events.

only learning i liked about Novartis.

Dislikes

... even bother to look after employee complains. absolutely extinct department. 7. managers will call personally and ask employees to work on saturday and sundays without any extra pay. 8. they retaliate against external/ contractual employee if not listening to them. 9. raising against management with valid issues is not taken seriously. Overall -SCM is the worst department to work.

- Employee policies are good although its up to the manager and team if you could utilize them. - work life balance is good in some teams but really bad in some teams

Dislikes

- Salaries and hikes are way below the market, they would rather hire new with way more salary than pay existing employees even a little more ( have seen too many people who left for this reason) - Growth depends entirely on your manager and the team politics - Work life balance was so bad, my manager kept calling when on sick leave to ask when i could come back or login to finish anything - HR is the complete low, they never respond, tried emailing them 6 times with still no response

If your managers and TL are not good, they will not want you to develop and take credit for your work. You might feel level of comfort and but there is fear of being obsolete, since you might not be learning new technical skills
