Salary Negotiation in an interview

Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

... growth and opportunities and job security are very poor compared to other jobs.And getting salary is also a typical task you need to wait for 2-3 months sometimes may be more also. but it is my passion to teach what i know to people who are interested in learning.apart all these issues i enjoyed working in a great society named NAC.

It depends on the Head of the Institution. But the same is now being offered to retired engineer-in-chiefs who are usually appointed by state govt who are not really persons to make a mark on the institutional goals.
