Good infrastructure and decent pay package.

Office in Kolkata is being run by a bunch of oldies and they think it's there father's company and they can do anything they want. There is no one to judge who is wrong or who is right. There is no neutral manager to whom you can talk if you have any problem. Very poor management.

Pay was average. Office infra was okay (not up to IT industry standard, but tolerable)

Dislikes

It is not an IT company, despite what it tries to be. 1. Factory floor like work timings, you will have to explain if you punch/sign out just 5 minutes short of 9 hours. No work from home concept. Absolutely no work life balance. For attending important personal situations you will need to apply for leaves. 2. Management is absolutely mean minded. You need special permission if you apply for a casual leave or EVEN A SICK LEAVE for Friday or Monday, so as to make it a long weekend. 3. Work on ancient, obsolete technology. 4. Mindless bureaucracy that will put totalitarian regimes to shame. A minor change in database field requires approval from VP / CEO. If your application requires a new table, forget about any schedule that you might have thought off. 5. An idiotic GM that runs project management via Excel files. Lacks PM skills, doesn't know how to use a basic tool like MS Project. 6. Overall arrogant people that cannot be dealt with logic.

You can learn work here if you are interested and encouraged by your choice. Work pressure low comparatively. Work timing less than other companies.

Benefits low, pay low, bonus not good, gender diversity non existent, biased management.

Likes

Good work ethics and just culture are followed. Ship managers and Manning agencies are transparent and receptive. Repatriation and allocation is in time always. They value our family life as well and support us whenever required. Job security is guaranteed and I am very satisfied with my job and my employer.

Dislikes

... one thing that has scope of improvement is thier policy on training and travel. They must update their terms and conditions in order to pay when attending company required courses from day one. Also, their contract must cover from home to home.

Good company to start for freshers. Company culture is very good by organising events and other things.

Dislikes

Poor management work pressure is very high during high volume of work. Growth and compensation is very slow.In some teams there is a partiality during appraisals.
