Best part about working here is the extra curricular activities you get to participate in like sports ( cricket, bodybuilding, Powerlifting, hockey, athletics etc), music, play and more. In the end it's your decision what you want in life more money and more work or ok money and ample time for yourself as well. Your Travelling by train will be sorted here as you are a Railway employee.

Dislikes

Promotion aspects are low here, salary not like you get in MNCs. Learning depends on you how much you want, noone will here hold your hand and teach you things.

I liked diffrent types of challanges which railways puts before its officers and the team working during accidents and restoration works

Dislikes

anuual performance appraisal system is subjective and biased.needs to be made objective and performance based

Systematic working. Mostly the assignment matches the profile & experience . One has freedom to express his view. Transperancy in most of the work.

Dislikes

Appraisal and promotion is very poor although ready to deliver more than assignment. Recognition of work is not there.

Likes

Career growth for the few employ are good.Job is secured. Full of union politics connected with trade unions. Work environment is very good. In technical branch no innovation only coping from other country due to ill motive. Appraisal system is very much defective but some improvement noticed due to implementation of information to employ.
