Unexpected job policies: stay or switch?
I recently switched jobs with a 48% hike, and my current in-hand salary is ₹35K. But after joining, I realized a few important things that weren’t mentioned during the interview. 1. No Phones or Bags Allowed – We have to keep them in lockers, which I wasn’t informed about before joining. 2. Working Saturdays – HR said all Saturdays are working but assured that one Saturday off per month would be introduced soon. I can't see that happening anytime soon 3. Phone Policy Confusion – When I asked HR why this wasn’t discussed earlier, they said it’s only for two months and won’t be the case at the new location (which was discussed earlier). But some old employees say the same rule applies there too. 4. Leaves – We get 21 paid leaves a year. I’m already thinking of switching. Would it be too soon to leave within 3 months, or should I stay for at least 6 months? Also, since I just got a good hike, how much can I ask for in my next job?

KVGB is best for those who don't want more risk and responsibility. It is best for office assistant and limited work style.

KVGB is fully owned by GOI. Although management doesn't have any individual liberty to take decisions independently. Even state also holds some portion of stake in grameen banks. Hence lot of political hydrama involved which affecting pure banking. It is neither acts corporate nor social banking. Hence 90% hidden NPA in restructured and agri loans . In one line RRB employees are jack of all master of none.

Dislikes

Promotion policy, other benifits to employees and improvement in software etc are the main drawback of the Bank. Bank is sponored by Canara Bank, but decision maker is NABARD which is no where concern to Bank. Because of this only Bank is not showing the progress. in Kannada one proverb is famous/ suitable to this BANK(rrb)i.e. HALAUVE MAKKALA THAYEE HOLEGE BIDDU SAYEE. Meaning in English is the mother one who is having more kids, no one will take care about her and ultimately she will be neglected. my suggestion is RRB should be merged with sponsore Bank only. that is the only solution.
