Integral coach factory is the one of the Asia's biggest coach manufacturing factory, there are many types of coaches are manufacturing, for me personally liked was I'm inspecting the coach, after that only coach is getting clearance and pulled out for run

Dislikes

Disliked things is there are many dust particles, for eg frp are cutting in pathway itself so it tends to be affecting peoples while crossing.

Likes

Security is good because must were uniform and shoes, workculture is good management rules is comman, whenever complete work no issuses otherwise they will be allocated overtime

ICF was one of the Vast place for gathering knowledge....1 year is not enough for gather all information from there....Both seminars and on floor work gave best experience and knowledge...Best place for fresher to improve our knowledge .Factory environment was good.Weekly notes checking and monthly test in Technical training center(TTC) was very useful to update ourself properly...Advanced welding training institute (AWTI) was the best place for mechanical students they conducted lot of seminars and practical welding also, it was very useful to got a knowledge in various types of welding process and welding defects,visual inspection etc.....

Dislikes

1)In starting onwards we all are suffer because of very low stifund(nearly 5000 rupees) that is not enough to manage in main city after 5 month they increase stifund to 9000 rupees after lot of letters and mail to Railway and BOAT office by trainees. so take review for that stifund increment every year based on Economics situation for future trainees. 2)No job security for apprentice students.After completion of 1 year training , please provide any job based on that 1 year experience.(Govt or atleast private sector).... because that is very useful for our career growth..

I am working with ICF under the act apprenticeship since 2016.The working experience in here was quite exciting.Each and every day I learned something new.The railway staffs were always been there to help and guide throughout my entire apprenticeship period.

Dislikes

My apprenticeship period was a piece of cake thanks to all my teachers and railway staffs.But at the end of the day we are not given the assurance of our future career.Even tough we are trained professionals from government institutions we are not sure about our placements after completing this apprenticeship.
