With the political interference and reservation policy it is very difficult for general category person to work. There is no scope for talent in Government.

Its not a good experience with Uttrakhand government specialty as a teacher in rural areas of Uttrakhand. No incentive for hard destinations,no transfer policy,the government have no any fullproof plan for the education department.

This state used to be very promising in terms of career and service. Gradually it has slipped and now it is average. Some serious issues are and will become dominant in due course of time. Every 2nd man is either a neta or a relative of neta. 2 zones are always at logger heads and this will never end. Sorry to say that a good state is dying it's natural death and it would not be a surprise if it stands the most backward state after 20yrs.

Dislikes

Unfortunately lot of interference by netas. Lot of meetings. Frequent meetings in dehra dun. Visit of netaji with numerous supporters who expect v.i.p. treatment and it is increasing day by day.
