The entire culture of Cochlear India is very toxic and full of favouritism, with high discrepancies in pay structure, a company with a employee strength of 80+ in India with a high attrition rate(15-20/yearly) shows the culture of the organisation, too much toxic and they don’t understand the concept of professional and personal life, you will be indirectly forced to run 5K and 10K in meetings just because the top person of the organisation likes to run!! Ridiculous! Stay away from the organisation till the current management is there, but globally it is a very good organisation to work for, only South Asia(India) management is the issue.

Gossip..Gossip and more mindless gossip.. One autocratic leader and a bunch of morons in the management team in India No business acumen or strategy is needed, just do all the silly things they want you to do and you are ok Randomly put people on PIPs or fire people. The reason will have nothing to do with performance Only company where HR will be happy when people are fired The leader feeds on daily random gossip and the people who feed the gossip and termed performers and are promoted Worst decision in your career to join here No work life balance on field while people in headquarters chill talking about silly things and the GM makes herself busy by arranging plants in office

Easy money, no brains required to perform job function, processes and technology is so elementary and people are expected to play dumb.

Dislikes

Culture is one of bullying and intimidation. You are expected to 'do as directed' and not apply any of your intellect or mental faculties. Zero learning opportunity and absolutely no intent to improve or grow as an organization.
