Openness until Marvell technologies took over.

With Marvell taking over Cavium Networks, the culture has changed drastically. Cavium had a great environment and had humanity. Do not join if you want job security (complete job security is a myth, i mean more security than Marvell.), they can fire at the drop of a hat because they are so bent on only profits. The human factor is missing. You will not even be conveyed why you got fired in the first place, the hr will just ask you to clear out in 48 hours, period. Sevarance packages are quite decent though. I am not judging their policy of firing, they are firing most probably to keep themsrlves profitable and thats how they prefer to run the show. But it wreaks havoc on the employees mind. Join at your own peril or seek some place which are a bit more human.
