The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role

It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming carcade for chilling. Company policies are good.
