New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. Overall Excellent. We get all type of knowledge about travel documents, Type of visa and passports, various aspect of immigration in depth and get experience how to detract a person trying to travel on fake travel documents or trying to bypass the rules/system . We always work with soft spoken attitude and keep the security aspect of country on top.

Their uniform is required to be changed to give new look as during course of duty we interact various type of persons /dignitary of various countries. One can say the Immigration Officers at counter is representing the country
