New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

The company has nothing which you can like. I used to work in Newtown, Kolkata unit which is under Sanjeevani Health & Lifestyle (SHLPL).

Dislikes

...ekananda Road. Suddenly they will remove from your position without any warning. They give salary late. Due to their wrong rostering your salary or leave will get deducted.

... upcoming competitive exam. If you're looking for a permanent job this isn't it. It might be helpful if you're looking to supplement your pay. Management is in good hands but they have minimum to nil knowledge of anything related to medicine, so the RMP has to stay vigilant. Apollo is very proactive when it comes to keeping the Doctor up to date with the latest happenings in the field of medicine. Overall if you're a fresher/beginner who has just stepped out as a Junior Doctor, it's a good place to start.

There r no salary hikes even after working for 1yr as a doctor and if at all any one ask they tell it’s not there in the agreement , felt so disappointed as a doctor I go for home visits even after they asked to work for COVID conditions also I did but they disappointed me completely in this issue. 2. As doctors we donno the administrative part ... so that we are unable approach regarding other doctors for reference 3. There is no appreciation for doc after working punctually and yeah no appraisals even ...

nothing at all, its the worst

Dislikes

dentists are treated worse, no increment,no hike event though working for more than 4years, they dont event settle the salary after leaving, we have to call them multiple times and they dont respond. very unhealthy, worst place ever to work. no health benefits
