... day. Promotion criteria in Amazon is too strict and they need to reevaluate it. Salary compensation is too low for such a huge workload and because of low base pay the hike doesn't make much difference.

Lot has changed in Amazon for the past 2 years it's not the same company because growth has been stagnant lot of office politics and every quarter there will be new alignment in the teams

No job security Will give you package more than what you are expecting target based job in all domains will be on radar all the time. This is not to discourage others if you feel you can work under pressure from all direction you can grow very well.

Work is nice. There is good compensation and benefits provided.

There is no job security and the work politics between levels and managers is very prevalent in the company. No career growth unless you stick it up the the managers and higher level. No worth being good in the company. Cheating and loyalty towards few chosen people only works.
