Work life balance is good, there is slight deviation at times but otherwise is good. Good job security, you can expect to work in different areas of train development, this shift may or may not be based on your experience/skills.

...ive or other embedded based industry and looking for development from scratch. Remuneration is the biggest problem as the pay you get is exactly half of what you get for the same experience in other industries. You can find Alstom Vadodara a comfortable place if you are local to work place and the priority is to get a decent work life balance but could be really frustrating if you have left your home to learn and earn more.

On time salary, no work after 6pm

Dislikes

Managers think they own you, typical Indian boss mindset, don't know how to speak with reportees. Avoid this Hyderabad site(ex Bombardier) site. Poor processes in work. Site needs a complete overhaul.

Best in Railway sector. Exposure is really good. Innovations are respected and promoted.

Dislikes

Middle Management in India is not good which increases people to leave Alstom. Passionate and technically sound people should be given good opportunities and better pay.

...their education and can derail one's career. No job security. Hike is around 5%. Variable pay on an average is 60%. Too much internal politics and favoritism. Managers here have a good work life balance. They will log off at 5pm, are allowed to take maximum wfh but team members are asked to sit till late in office and come daily. Worst company ever.

In this role I had very good work life balance and got lot of learnings. I was never worried about getting lynched from company as Railways is a very stable business.

Dislikes

The salary's were never on par with industry. Tendency is to not to promote and there is no long term vision. And the promotions are never based on the skill/merit but based on who cries loud.
